The designated driver receives the wristband from the bouncer at the door or from the bar tender who will also give them their decoder cup. The decoder cup can be used to see hidden messages on coasters. Each of 11 different styles of coasters will have 3 - 5 different prompts on them for the designated driver to use to liven up the party.
At the beginning of the 5 months each bar will get 500 decoder cups & wristbands with 11 sets of 87 different coasters. Here are some of the messages that will be hidden on the coasters.

each bar will get 15 embroidered shirts saying "you're the boss." The shirts will show people who they can to talk to about being a designated driver.
Each bar will get 2 cup dispensers which will hold all their red cups and show people how many cups have been used.
Finally, each designated driver will be entered into a weekly drawing for a free dinner for two (a $35 value). All they have to do is give their wristband, with their name written on it, to the bartender as they leave with their passenger. This will enter them into the drawing.
