i hope to work with Santa Fe High school
Santa Fe High School has a long tradition of being a strong SADD chapter. We are also the SWAT chapter for SFHS. This school year is no different. Our hard working, dedicated members plan to be more active than ever before. We would like to involve other area schools and the community. We wish to spread our message of "no tolerance" to everyone. We have already had two very successful club meetings. We have a wonderful club, faculty, and sponsor. Collectively we would like to get as much of the community involved in saving lives as possible.

Why Kansas Citians Drink and drive

DRINKING IS GLAMORIZED BY KC SOCIETY!

-The local radio station "96.5" has a morning skit called "Afedras Morning Buzz".
-Johnny Dare, the host of "98.9 The Rock," owns a bar.
-Almost every event, listen in the Pitch Weekly, involves drinking.

WHY DO PEOPLE GO TO BARS?

-There is a lack of sober activities in Kansas City.
-biggest reason - To meet the opposite sex - most people there are single.
-to meet friends too.
-Childhood glamorization.
(the bar, "Knuckle Heads", has popular local shows, put on by The Blues Society. If your under 21 you can't get in.)
(Sometimes, children have to pay more than adults to get into band shows.)
Children a growing up feeling like, in order to enjoy local music, you have to go to a bar.
